چکیده

Understanding the place of man in ecology range has always been an important issue geography. Most humans depend on agriculture and natural resources for their livelihoods. Owing to this relationship, most salient consequences trigger disconnects between ecological services. This paper examines contribution land use patterns improvement human needs services Ajei forest area. The methodology consisted primary secondary data: questionnaires, focus groups interviews. Landsat Satellite Images (LANDSAT, 1986,2020 ASTER, 2003, 2007 2020) were used respectively. Secondary data sourced from diverse specific literature backgrounds. gotten analyzed using descriptive approach, presented form graphs. Findings revealed that, Ajie area, highly depends survival. Land indicators further show that: (37.4%) is principal drive followed by population growth (31.3%), settlement (10%), knowledge increased conservation (8.3%), accessibility (8%) increase deforestation (5.1%) while government, traditional establishments, NGOs individual, main local pro-conservative minded stakeholders. In spite above pointers, there challenges faced community which topography variations, slope steepness, institutional disparity, socio-economic environmental constraints. suggests attain a balance functions, need embrace veritable tactics both stakeholders: more comprehensive ecosystem management strategy. Implement land-use land-management practices that are compatible with potential emphasizing much concern adaptive approach.

Incorporating ecological functions in conservation decision making

Systematic conservation planning has become a standard approach globally, but prioritization of conservation efforts hardly considers species traits in decision making. This can be important for species persistence and thus adequacy of the conservation plan. Here, we developed and validated a novel approach of incorporating trophic information into a systematic conservation planning framework. ...

National and international policies for tropical rain forest conservation: a quantitative analysis for Cameroon

This paper provides a numerical general equilibrium assessment of policies to reduce tropical deforestation in Cameroon. Market failure mainly in the form of national and international externalities and policy failures such as highly distorted product markets are identified as major sources of overexploitation. The ecological effects of deforestation control are shown to depend crucially upon i...

Balance between cell division and differentiation during plant development.

The processes which make possible that a cell gives rise to two daughter cells define the cell division cycle. In individual cells, this is strictly controlled both in time and space. In multicellular organisms extra layers of regulation impinge on the balance between cell proliferation and cell differentiation within particular ontogenic programs. In contrast to animals, organogenesis in plant...

Verification in the Forest Sector in Cameroon

The national forest sector: context and issues Productive closed forests on drained land in Cameroon cover about 17.5 million hectares (Eba’a Atyi 1998). A zoning plan drafted in 1993 divided the national territory into a permanent forest domain (PFD) and a non-permanent forest domain (NPFD).
